Free Pattern: Little Fairy






Materials:

yarn in light pink, dark pink, white, dark brown
filling
scissors
safety eyes
embroidery floss
tapestry needle


Abbreviations:
st - stitch
sl st - slip stitch
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
dc - double croche
hdc - half double crochet
tc - triple crochet
inc - increase
dec - decrease
* - repeat between * and *

Work in continuous rounds, use stitch marker to keep track of where you are.
Magic ring: you should be able to find instructions on the internet, otherwise start with ch 3, sc 6 in 3rd ch from hook


Head:
With white

R1: sc 6 in magic ring
R2:* inc* repeat around (12)
R3: *sc 1, inc* repeat around (18)
R4: *sc 2, inc * repeat around (24)
R5: *sc 3, inc* repeat around (30)
R6-10: sc 30 (30)
R11: *sc 3, dec* repeat around (24)
R12: *sc 2, dec* repeat around (18)
R13: *sc 1, dec* repeat around (12)

Fasten off, leave long tail for sewing, stuff.

Body:
With light pink

R1: sc 6 in magic ring
R2: *inc* repeat around (12)
R3: *sc 1, inc* repeat around (18)
R4: *sc 2, inc* repeat around (24)
R5-6: sc 24 (24)
R7: through backloops only sc 24 (24)
R8-9: sc 24 (24)
R10: *sc 2, dec* (18)
R11: *sc 1, dec* (12)
Fasten off, weave in loose ends. Stuff and sew to head.


Skirt:
With dark pink
Through the frontloops of round 7 of the body. Start with sl st. *ch 3, sc in next st* repeat around . Fasten off, weave in loose ends.


Wings:
Make 2

With dark pink
R1: ch 7
R2: start with sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc 6, repeat on the other side of the chain, sc 6.
R3: sc 5, 2 dc in 1 st, sc 5, 2dc in 1 st.
Fasten off, leave long tail for sewing, sew to body.


Arms:
make 2

with white
R1: sc 6 in magic ring
R2: *sc 1, inc* repeat around (9)

with light pink
R3: sc 9 (9)
R4: *sc 1, dec* (6)
R5: sc 6
Fasten off, leave long tail for sewing, sew to body


Wig:
With brown

R1: sc 6 in magic ring
R2: inc, repeat around (12)
R3: *sc, inc* repeat around (18)
R4: *sc2, inc* repeat around (24)
R5: *sc3, inc* repeat around (30)
R6: sc 10, inc, sc 10, inc, sc 8, (32)
R7-9: sc 32 (32)
R10: sc 10, dc, dc, 2tc in 1 st, 2 tc in 1 st, dc, dc, sl st, dc, dc, 2 tc in 1 st, 2 tc in 1 st, dc, dc, sc 9
Fasten off, secure to head. Take a piece of yarn and split. Now pull a loop through the front of the hair and pull the ends through the loop.



Bib:
With brown

R1: sc 6 in magic ring
R2: inc around (12)
R3-4: sc 12
Fasten off, stuff a little and sew to back of the head. Take 2 pieces of split yarn and tie around the bib.
Embroider eye lashes and mouth

  10. Treble is what we call it in the US x: Ah, lovely language differences. I once came across a pattern that used UK terms. Needless to say, I messed up. :3 Anyway, thanks yet again.

      there she is.. I couldn't resist and mady her absolutly over the top glittery and with a lace shawl and Tutu, purple glitter hair... she will be a Christmas Gift for a Friend of mine, a Socialworker who once said, her working principle is "I am sprinkling Glitter in Lives of Others" (which we made of the german Acronym "Ivgilal") so... this Darling proudly carries the Name Ileana Ivgilal. (While Ileana is the tchechz Version of Helena, which means the Golden Shining one :-D)
